Dr. Benedict Nwachukwu is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. He serves as the head team physician for the New York Liberty (WNBA) and as a team physician for the Brooklyn Nets (NBA). In academia, he is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and obtained both his MD and MBA from Harvard University. Dr. Nwachukwu has published more than 270 peer-reviewed articles, and his research has been nationally recognized throughout his career.
